Research on Multi-Equipment Cluster Scheduling of U-Shaped Automated Terminal Yard and Railway Yard

A new layout of the U-shaped automated terminal is more convenient to connect between and railway. In this study, a sort cluster scheduling method for multiple equipment yard railway proposed. The innovation points are as follows: (1) Considering that rail gantry crane (RGC), intelligent guided vehicle (IGV), double cantilever (DCRC) usually work in groups, they grouped cluster-scheduled. (2) hybrid integer programming model established minimize container transit times, non-crossing constraints safe distance included reflect complex interactions among equipment. (3) An ADMM (Alternating Direction Method Multipliers)-based framework proposed dualize hard-edge break problem down into specific subproblem set RGCs, IGVs, DCRCs, their time cost iteratively adjusted improve solution quality. experiment results show method, which can effectively avoid IGV conflict, better than standard Lagrange relaxation (LR) when number equipments participating increases. This study on multi-equipment conducive improving collaborative handling continuous equipment, efficiency sea–rail intermodal transport.
